Throughout the year, the School of Health Sciences presents many exciting
events designed to educate, enlighten and inspire students, health care
practitioners and members of the general public.
Some highlights of the calendar include:
CARING WORKSHOPS
These workshops are designed to help caregivers acquire a better understanding
of a variety of disabilities and diseases so they can provide appropriate
assistance to the client who has an ongoing condition. Workshops also
provide a forum where caregivers can network and communicate with each
other. They are intended for Personal Attendant/Personal Support Workers,
Health Care Aides and other interested caregivers.
